VOXX International Corporation, the manufacturing and distribution group of automotive, consumer and biometrics technologies and owner of Klipsch, among several other brands, announced an expanded alliance with Onkyo and Pioneer Corporation, which adds the two premium brands and new product lines in the Americas. This agreement follows the termination of the efforts by Sound United to acquire Onkyo Corporation’s consumer audio division in 2019.

Luxman America announced the launch of its D-10x flagship SACD/CD player and USB DAC. This is the world’s first home audio component using ROHM Semiconductor’s eagerly anticipated MUS-IC BD34301EKV Delta-Sigma digital-to-analog converter. The D-10x also features refinements on the LxDTM-i disc transport mechanism and a new ODNF-u analog circuit. Other highlights include full MQA decoding and MQA-CD playback.

Yamaha re-created the singing voice of deceased Japanese musician “hide” (Hideto Matsumoto) using its unique singing voice synthesizer technology Vocaloid to complete unrecorded and unreleased songs. Analyzing in detail the massive amount of digital vocal data that the Japanese singer recorded during his lifetime, Yamaha was able to re-create his voice using Vocaloid technology.
