Electro-Voice Adds Bluetooth Audio Streaming to Its ZLX Best-Selling Speaker Family

Yes. Wireless convenience is now highly recognized even by professionals for some applications. That's why Electro-Voice decided to combine the sound quality of its popular ZLX powered PA speakers - ZLX-12BT and ZLX-15BT - and build on its feature set by adding Bluetooth audio streaming. This means the Electro-Voice ZLX series now also includes two new models, the ZLX-12BT (12-inch 2-way) and ZLX-15BT (15-inch 2-way), both Bluetooth-equipped for audio streaming from any mobile device.

The latest member of the Electro-Voice EV-Innovation family of installation-dedicated loudspeaker systems, the five-model EVC series was designed to bring superior sound quality for small/medium-sized installations with more affordable and more reliable systems than ever before. The series features unique technology including Automatic Saturation Compensation (all models) and a Variable Intensity (VI) model, all with similar voicing and looks, and matching mounting and input panel accessories.

An unusual global launch at ISE 2017 in Amsterdam for Electro-Voice was the introduction of the new X12-125F flying subwoofer, matching the same form factor and performance-matched with the remaining X-Line Advance line array series elements. The new subwoofer features dual 15-inch high-output transducers in a very compact enclosure that can be flown or ground-stacked, including a user-friendly integrated rigging System for quick, secure deployment in X1 and X2 arrays.

Electro-Voice was one of the companies signaling a comeback to this important segment with the launch of its new ND Series, succeeding the popular EV N/Dym Series. The ND Series features eight new microphones – four vocal and four instrument models – all with superior sound quality and smart new features, designed for live performance and studio applications.

Electro-Voice introduced its latest portable sound family of speakers at the 2015 NAMM Show. The new EKX series targets live/club/installed sound applications and was engineered by EV to deliver best-in-class performance and reliability, using digital signal processing control, Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide design, and Cardioid Control Technology for subwoofers.

Electro-Voice had big news at InfoComm 2014 expo in Las Vegas, with the global preview of the next generation of X-Line line-array loudspeakers (X1 & X2). At the EV booth, cutaway models allowed a close-up look at the engineering innovations of the new series, while the X1 line-array system could be seen in action in the demo room.
