Focusrite Launches RedNet AM2 Stereo Audio Monitoring Unit

At the 139th International AES Convention in New York, Focusrite announced the launch of a new product in its popular RedNet range of Dante audio-over-IP products: the RedNet AM2 stereo audio monitoring unit. RedNet AM2 is a Dante-compatible stereo monitoring unit combining headphone and line outputs for flexible monitoring of signals sourced from the Dante network.

VUE Audiotechnik announced its participation in the Dante AV Networking World Fall Tour 2015, co-sponsored by more than 20 leading professional audio manufacturers. VUE Audiotechnik provides Dante-enabled loudspeakers for all of the free Dante AV Networking World seminars scheduled to take place across the United States, over a span of four months.

Audinate announced a firmware update for OEMs building low channel-count audio audio network products with dedicated 4-channel input (4x0) or output (0x4) configurations at 96kHz, while minimum device latency has been reduced from 2ms to 1ms for both 2x2 and 4x4 versions. The new firmware also delivers improvements to the Dante Device Protocol (DDP) that allow for visual product identification on a network and greater control capabilities via GPIO.

VUE Audiotechnik will unveil new Dante network support for its digital DSP-enabled systems at InfoComm 2015. Planned for both the h-Class family of Ultra-High Definition Speaker Systems and V Series DSP/Amplifier Systems Engines, the update is set to officially ship in September 2015 and will be incorporated within all future products.
