Sonarworks SoundID Reference Multichannel Calibration Now Available for RME TotalMix Room EQ

Sonarworks and RME Audio have collaborated to provide a turnkey hardware solution for studios looking to measure and calibrate their rooms for both stereo, binaural, and immersive playback. Sonarworks' SoundID Reference delivers calibration for audio systems from stereo up to 9.1.6 channels. By incorporating a compatible export file for RME's ROOM EQ, Sonarworks has added RME's line of audio interfaces to their list of SoundID Reference compatible hardware.

Merging Technologies announced the launch of a new all-in-one product bundle, offering comprehensive monitoring and calibration facilities to help deal with the complexities of Dolby Atmos productions. The new Merging Technologies Atmos Bundle is sold as a complete hardware and software solution package, including a Merging Hapi MkII interface with DA8 cards, Merging Anubis Pro SPS, and Sonarworks SoundID Reference for multichannel including microphone.

Merging+Anubis is now the world’s first audio interface and controller to run Sonarworks' SoundID Reference correction software without a computer, with the lowest possible latency, right out of the box. Launched already three years ago, the powerful Anubis continues to show the power of integration and being open to third party add-ons. Sonarworks and Merging Technologies have partnered up to simplify the music production process with the first hardware to enable SoundID Reference correction outside of a computer.
