Sony Introduces New WF-1000XM3 Noise-Canceling True Wireless Headphones Featuring Dedicated Processor

The race to lead the true wireless earbud market category is heating up, with the major brands introducing updated specifications and focusing on key selling points. The whole market recognizes that Apple has a clear lead due to its tight hardware integration and dedicated wireless chip, already in its second-generation. Now Sony enters the market with the new and improved WF-1000XM3 model - $229.99 - featuring also its own HD Noise-Canceling Processor QN1e processor, new Bluetooth chip and optimized antenna design.

ams announced a new digital noise cancellation technology that the Austrian sensor solutions supplier says will transform the experience of hearing music and voice calls when wearing new, more comfortable, loose-fit true wireless earbuds. The new Augmented Hearing Engine from ams supports development of features such as selectable noise cancellation to optimize listening when in social situations and allows audio manufacturers to develop highly differentiated product designs with unique capabilities.

Logitech announced the launch of the Logitech Zone Wireless and Logitech Zone Wireless Plus Headsets, created from the ground up for people working in an open office environment. Leveraging Logitech’s deep audio expertise, the Zone series of headsets allow users to take conference calls, listen to music, or block out distractions with active noise cancellation (ANC). The Zone Wireless range are also the first business headsets to offer Qi wireless charging, providing convenient charging at the user’s desk.
