Wireless Speaker and Audio Association Confirms Certification for System Audio and Platin Speakers

The Wireless Speaker and Audio Association (WiSA) founded by Summit Wireless Technologies continues to announce the certification of new speakers. Immediately following the High End 2019 show in Munich, Germany, WiSA announced the certification of the Legend Silverback speakers from Danish manufacturer System Audio. Following that announcement, WiSA confirmed the certification of the Monaco 5.1 Wireless Home Theater speaker system from Platin, a division of Hansong Technology.

Established in Denmark in 1984, System Audio is an award-winning loudspeaker manufacturer whose speakers are known for their simple Scandinavian design, superb build quality and extraordinary sound. Available now through System Audio’s dealer network, the Legend 40 Silverback are an exciting new line home speakers that includes the SA Legend 60 Silverback floor standing speaker (€8,199/pair), SA Legend 40 Silverback floor standing speaker (€5,399/pair) and SA Legend 5 Silverback bookshelf speaker (€3,000/pair). 

These are a unique family of active speakers that can be used wirelessly with a WiSA hub or WiSA USB Transmitter or connected to a preamplifier. Each speaker has 2-4 built-in digital amplifiers of up to 560 watts, lossless digital active crossovers and a digital signal processor (DSP). The speakers can be combined to create a wireless 7.1 home theater system offering uncompressed audio in 24/96kHz high-definition resolution. Recently showcased at the High End 2019 trade show in Munich, the SA Legend 40 Silverback floor standing speaker earned the “Best of Hifi Award” from Germany’s HiFi Eins Null Magazine.

WiSA also confirmed the certification of the Monaco 5.1 Wireless Home Theater speaker system from Platin, a division of Hansong Technology. The Monaco 5.1 Wireless Home Theater solution is a “white label” product, available immediately for licensing and rebranding by consumer electronics and audio companies worldwide.

The Monaco 5.1 Wireless Home Theater System comes from Platin’s parent company Hansong Technology, established in 1998 and recognized as an ODM and OEM manufacturing supplier in multiple areas of consumer and commercial electronics. The company’s experience includes products such as such as home theater Hi-Fi and AV systems, custom installation product, professional audio, wireless technologies and commercial audio products.

The 5.1 system combines performance, simplicity and convenience while delivering room-filling sound. With WiSA certification, the Monaco Speaker System will be able to play wireless, multi-channel audio with low-latency speaker synchronization with any WiSA compatible WiSA Certified or WiSA Ready sources. This includes new 2019 WiSA Ready LG OLED and Nano Cell (Super UHD) TVs.

Available now, the certification of the Monaco system includes satellite speakers, a center channel speaker and subwoofer. These wireless components can be mixed and matched to create powerful audio systems in any configuration from stereo (2.0) to a 7.1 theater experience.
