As part of their continued customer-focused approach - inspired by Lucid Hearing - Westone Audio has launched what it states to be one of the industry's most technologically advanced universal fit earphones available on the market today. The new Westone Audio Mach Series universal fit in-earphones were developed using the over 35 years of engineering and performance experience previously used only for professional, stage-grade, custom in-ear monitors.

Westone Audio is a leading name custom in-ear monitors that has already successfully created universal fit designs that crossover to the prosumer market. With the new Mach Series, the brand expands its mission to reproduce the highest fidelity of sound, delivered through quality devices preferred by professional musicians and music enthusiasts alike. Now as a Lucid Hearing company, Westone Audio is reaching out to new audiences with further knowledge gained from its sister companies.

Developed by leveraging the company's audio engineering and artist performance experience, the new Westone Mach Series offers consumer oriented designs that bridge the gap between professional performance products and a product for the truest of music lovers, with a unique ergonomic fit. There are eight models in total in the Mach Series, starting with a product for everyday use and enjoyment in the Mach 10 ($299.99), a pair of in-ears featuring a proprietary single full range balanced-armature driver, that offers great balance and a clear top end that Westone says will impress any singer, musician or music lover. This entry level model has a sensitivity of 103dB with 80 Ohms impedance, at @1kHz. Like all models in the Mach Series, it offers an ergonomic design for all day use, with no ear fatigue. And even in this case, it ships with a high-quality Linum Estron BaX, very thin and ultra-strong silver plated copper cable. The series evolves from here with the Mach 20 ($399.99) using a a proprietary dual-driver system with single low, single mid/high, with superior 110dB sensitivity and 96 Ohms impedance.

Already in the Premium Bass level, the new Westone Mach series starts with the Mach 30 ($499.99) model with three balanced armature drivers. These models ship with a custom designed crushproof and watertight mini monitor vault, which includes five pairs each of Westone Audio proprietary foam and silicone tips to ensure the perfect seal with maximum comfort. The series evolves with the Mach 50 model ($799.99) for a more beefy listening experience using s a proprietary five-driver system with a 3-way passive crossover. For the ultimate Premium Bass experience, Westone offers the Mach 70 ($1,399.99) model, that delivers a wide extension with commanding bass and impressive soundstage, featuring a proprietary seven-driver system and a 3-way passive crossover (42 Ohms @1kHz).
The new Westone Mach Series offers three models that the company labels as Premium Reference, starting with the Mach 40 ($599.99) model, featuring a proprietary four-driver system with dual lows, single mid, and single high and a 3-way passive crossover (30 Ohms @1kHz). From here, it jumps to the Mach 60 ($1,099.99) model, using a six-driver system with dual lows, dual mids, and dual highs and a 3-way passive crossover. Finally, the flagship of the Mach Series is the Mach 80 ($1,599.99) in-ears, featuring eight balanced-armature drivers that extend the frequency response from 5Hz to 22kHz with 104dB sensitivity and 66 Ohms @1kHz.
All the balanced armature drivers used in the Mach Series are significantly more compact and efficient, allowing for a more comfortable, electronically sensitive, and sonically accurate end result. And those fit inside low-profile, lightweight, and universal earpieces with optimum ergonomics and fit. All ship with Linum Estron cables, designed and manufactured by estron a/s. Westone Audio chose to partner with estron to offer the BaX, SuperBaX, and UltraBaX cables with the Mach series for an upgraded, pure sound listening experience. And each Mach model comes with a crushproof, watertight, and dustproof case and five pairs each of proprietary foam and silicone tips, as mentioned.

"The MACH Series product combines over 35 years of engineering experience and tens of thousands of performance hours to capture this unique and true sound," says Jason Kidd, President & COO, Westone Audio. "These sound signatures were previously offered exclusively in our professional custom in ear monitors, but now can be experienced by every listener."
