A week after announcing the latest Sennheiser Sport True Wireless earbuds featuring a choice of open and closed ear adapters and a secure, customizable fit to suit multiple sports, Sennheiser shows a new TWS design that perfects the experience. Encased in a design that uses high-quality materials and precise workmanship, the new Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds offer a range of technologies and features that take the listening experience to a new level.

Just like its predecessors, the Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds deliver outstanding sound quality, centered around Sennheiser's True Response transducer. Based on dynamic 7mm drivers manufactured in Germany, it produces a sound that the company describes as “deep bass, natural mids and detailed highs” (which could be about any transducer ever made, but that’s the challenge of describing the subjective impressions of sound reproduction). What can be said is that the True Response drivers used in the Momentum series earbuds are among the most neutral and balanced available, offering high quality reproduction.
The new Sound Personalization feature is what takes the Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds to another level, providing an enhanced sound experience via a guided listening test to setup the perfect sound for each user’s individual hearing. In addition, the Smart Control App offers a choice of presets and an equalizer feature to tailor the sound to the user’s taste.
And since the Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds were created for everyday life, especially on the go, Sennheiser has specifically improved the updated model with Adaptive Noise Cancellation which automatically adjusts to the user environment. The system continuously observes ambient noise to suppress it in real time. Users who want to be aware of their surroundings to hear things such as train announcements, for example, can deactivate the noise cancellation at the touch of a button, or switch to transparency mode.
The Momentum True Wireless 3 design again uses a Qualcomm Bluetooth platform that supports AAC and aptX Adaptive audio codecs. For the best possible synchronization between audio and visual content, aptX Adaptive automatically switches to the aptX Low Latency mode, while users will be able to enjoy high-quality streaming with AAC or aptX HD. In addition, each earbud now features three microphones that promote crystal-clear call quality, enabling smooth and easy-to-follow video calls.
The new stylish and futuristic ergonomic design enables a long-lasting comfortable fit. The intuitive touch control of the Momentum True Wireless 3, which users can tailor to their personal preferences, makes it easier to navigate the audio and access voice assistants. And the earbuds also come with several silicone pads in different sizes that are designed to fit all ear shapes and sizes. Thanks to its IPX4-certified splash-resistant casing, the Momentum True Wireless 3 are ready for almost any adventure, even under adverse conditions.
Finally, the new Momentum True Wireless 3 offers a battery life of seven hours – with 28 hours more available in the charging case – which means that users are ready for a full day of activity. And because the high-quality case supports wireless charging, the process itself is easy as it can be.
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds will be available May 10, 2022 with an MSRP of $249.95 USD, in black, white and graphite finishes.
