Rakoit Introduces B50 Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier with Auracast Transmitter

October 21 2024, 00:35
From Rakoit comes the announcement of the new B50 stereo amplifier and Bluetooth streamer, which is able to output two 50 watt channels at 4 ohms, and is able to connect to a TV via HDMI ARC and stream to Bluetooth speakers and headphones. The Bluetooth receiver is able to pair with two different sources and the transmitter allows Auracast sharing for two different receivers, such as headphones and speakers. The Rakoit B50 is based on the established Qualcomm QCC3040 SoC, which means it receives and streams aptX HD.

Rakoit is a design house and OEM/ODM manufacturer with excellent credentials in digital and wireless audio, also in the market with the excellent Arylic portfolio of audio DIY solutions. Rakoit was founded by Ryan Jiang and a group of hardware and software product development experts, focusing on streaming and wireless audio solutions for multiroom and whole home systems. Headquartered in Shenzhen, China, Rakoit has established a solid reputation as an ODM provider for many recognized brands in those application spaces.

That’s why we shouldn’t be surprised to see an announcement such as the Rakoit B50, a compact 2x50W integrated amplifier, able to connect to a TV source via HDMI ARC and able to stream simultaneously to Bluetooth speakers and headphones. Designed around the Qualcomm QCC3040 Bluetooth 5.2 SoC, the B50 is able to receive and stream high-quality audio over aptX HD. Otherwise standard aptX and AAC are also supported.

The powerful tri-core processor architecture in the QCC3040 supports complex use cases, combining a dual core 32-bit processor application subsystem (up to 32MHz) and a single core configurable Qualcomm Kalimba DSP. The updated specifications in this SoC include the ability to connect up to 2 different mobile devices to receive streams, and transmission support for up to 2 different Bluetooth sinks, which can be speakers and headphones.

On the back of the Rakoit B50 we find multiple connection options, including a phono input to connect a turntable (MM/MC), one analog line input (RCA), the speaker connectors, plus a line out for an active subwoofer. On the digital side, apart from the HDMI ARC already mentioned, there is an USB A-Type connector which allows plugging an external file storage (USB Host only), and an updated USB-C which allows the B50 to work as a DAC and connect to an external computer. There is also an optical input with support for 24-bit/192kHz PCM digital audio. All the sources and control can be selected directly from the Go Control App (iOS and Android).

Like all Rakoit products, the B50 Streaming Amplifier is available as a “white label” design for volume orders. Visit the Rakoit website for unit or volume orders or request a quotation.
