Powersoft Launches New Free Certified Training Courses

May 13 2021, 01:10
Powersoft has launched a brand-new training program on its recently updated website, which provides two new free training sections for users: Webinars, where all Powersoft’s recent webinars are uploaded, and E-Learning, where the live sound and install courses are available online for anyone who wishes to take them. A new OEM course will be released in the coming weeks.

The Powersoft E-Learning platform is designed to be a one-stop destination for online training. The courses are designed to provide sound engineers, integrators, and AV technicians the advantage to learn directly from Powersoft’s experts and gain certification upon completion.

“Created by our in-house experts, these courses are for anyone working in the professional audio market, so they can operate with specialist understanding on audio systems, and gain an expert’s insight into our audio products,” says Marc Kocks, Powersoft’s application engineering consultant manager.

The courses cover three main areas of the audio market: live sound, install and OEM technologies, and are split into different levels; basic, intermediate, and advanced. Once a course is complete, the trainee will receive a certificate of completion.

In the Live Sound and Install courses, users will be taught how to leverage Powersoft’s products to deliver the best sound quality to audiences. As well as providing a concrete overview of ArmoníaPlus, the company’s increasingly powerful system manager software, the courses will give users a complete overview of how to build effective sound systems that can be tailored to the specific needs of the installer.

The OEM course, aimed at manufacturers and OEM partners, will enable trainees to gain a deeper understanding of Powersoft’s core technologies and learn how to implement them in order to upgrade their products using Powersoft’s vast ecosystem of OEM solutions.

“These free courses, in addition to our webinars, have been designed to give users across the audio industry a chance to build upon their knowledge and gain new skills when installing audio systems and utilizing Powersoft products,” adds Kocks.  “It’s our hope that, with the launch of this Education Program, we will be able to continue to support the audio industry’s development.”

Dynamic Music Distribution
Understanding the power contained within Powersoft hardware and software solutions is essential to fully explore all the possibilities in all sorts of applications. Recently, Powersoft introduced dynamic routing capability on Powersoft amplifiers, enabling advanced routing options of audio signals – whether mono, stereo, or multichannel between devices – and controls signals in an automated fashion, with less cable runs.

This in practice allows systems integrators to use Powersoft amplifier platforms to replace most of the outboard required to manage, shape, and share audio sources throughout the various zones in a variety of dynamic music distribution applications by merging a routing matrix, networking capabilities, and digital signal processing between multiple amplifiers in different locations.

Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus system design tool relies on an object-based approach that enables integrators to easily configure the routing of sources and zones. It also enables the creation of different system configurations to be recalled, as well as to configure UI system controls with a pre-defined layout that doesn’t require any programming, or to create custom ones.

Moreover, user interfaces (UI) allow integrators to obtain control of the entirety of the system in background and foreground dynamic music distribution applications; an ability that is particularly useful in verticals such as bar and restaurant, hospitality, retail, and fitness. As well as saving integrators configuration and installation time and client’s budget, Powersoft’s suite of hardware, software, and additional tools, such as the soon-to-be-launched WM Touch, can all be targeted at specific applications.

The Powersoft dynamic music distribution system can also be fully integrated into larger applications where input mixing, advanced processing, and controls are managed by third-party platforms. To address all these possibilities, the Italian company expanded its training program initiatives.

Powersoft is also hosting a number of webinars in the coming weeks which will be uploaded to the training portal after the event. Register early using the links below:
