Nureva to Debut New Audio Conferencing Products at ISE 2020

December 16 2019, 00:20
Nureva, the collaboration-solutions company where the patented Microphone Mist technology was developed, confirmed the worldwide debut of new audio conferencing products at the ISE 2020 show in Amsterdam. The new products, some of which will be announced already in January 2020, even before their public debut at the RAI Amsterdam from 11 to 14 February, promise to solve the common and persistent problems of poor conference call audio.

Powered by patented Microphone Mist technology, Nureva systems are the only audio conferencing products that fill a space with thousands of virtual microphones to provide unparalleled full-room pickup. This allows meeting participants to be heard throughout the room regardless of their location, the direction they face or the presence of unwanted sounds such as HVAC fans or keyboard tapping. This helps solving the frustrating and persistent issue of poor audio pickup, especially in dynamic environments where participants move around the room. Users also have the option to limit the audio pickup to a specific zone within a space, such as the front of the room, making it ideal for corporate presentation scenarios and lecture capture in higher education.

The systems use sophisticated algorithms to simultaneously process sound from all virtual microphones to provide remote participants with a high-quality listening experience, enabled by continuous auto-calibration, simultaneous echo cancellation, position-based automatic gain control and sound masking. When combined with the Nureva Wall visual collaboration solution or other interactive display, Nureva audio conferencing systems can also be used as the primary source for audio and video playback. The systems are designed to work with Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Zoom, RingCentral, Google Hangouts, Cisco WebEx, GoToMeeting and other common UC&C applications. Current models include the HDL300 system and Dual HDL300 system.

Each year, ISE is the destination for the world’s AV industry. At this show, Nureva will continue to recruit new distributors and resellers to expand its channel and accelerate global market adoption of its audio conferencing systems and engage with end-users to discuss how the company’s line of products can solve their audio challenges. Nureva has experienced continued rapid growth in its customer base over the past year, including the addition of Google, Intel, MIT, VMWare, Allstate Insurance and Deloitte. Customer feedback continues to guide the expansion of Nureva’s audio platform with the goal of making it easy for IT professionals to achieve consistent, hassle-free audio performance throughout their spaces.

This includes the development of systems that are painless to implement and maintain and that are flexible enough to grow with the organization’s changing needs. It also includes integration and bundling with complementary products and platforms and expansion of the patent portfolio supporting Microphone Mist technology.

“ISE continues to be an important event for Nureva, and we are delighted to give attendees a first look at the latest additions to our expanding audio conferencing product line,” says Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. “The growing depth and breadth of our audio platform continues to address the needs of our expanding customer base for simple, reliable audio solutions that can be deployed throughout the organization.”

Visitors attending ISE 2020 can receive a live demonstration of Nureva’s audio conferencing systems running on multiple platforms. Nureva’s stand at ISE 2020 (11-D160) will be located in the Unified Communications hall.
