The new VMA Series of Mixer/Amplifiers now being introduced in the market by Harman, under the brand JBL Commercial, have been displayed previously in other trade-shows and the company apparently has been perfecting and expanding the range to offer complete choice for different commercial application scenarios on a global level, including models with one or two outputs.
The JBL VMA Series is a cost-effective line of Mixer/Amplifiers with low impedance functionality (4Ω, 8Ω) and high impedance 70V and 100V output. They are designed with convenient and flexible features to be used by commercial integrators worldwide, particularly price-sensitive emerging markets, combining different options of balanced mic/line and RCA inputs with 1 output of 60, 120, or 240-watts of power, paging chime, and priority muting. The series also works with JBL CSR-V wall controllers and rack mounting hardware is included.
The JBL Commercial VMA Series now includes the VMA 160 model 5-channel input with a 60W output, the VMA 1120 5-channel input and 120W output, the VMA 1240 5-channel input with 240W output, the VMA 260, with 8 channel inputs and 2x 80W outputs, and finally the VMA 2120, combining 8 channel inputs with 2x 120W outputs.
All models share the same basic front panel design, with a large LED illuminated volume control knob, Bluetooth pairing button, USB port, transport controls for direct intuitive control of any audio source, and easy direct access to all the source inputs. The design follows the same guidelines of other JBL Commercial products in the current range (including the compact CSMA Commercial Mixer/Amplifier series and new DriveCore amplifiers/processors), bridging elements from typical hi-fi components with commercial install features.
