MSE Audio Now Shipping SoundTube IPD-TSB2.0 STNet Dante Soundbar

MSE Audio is now shipping its SoundTube IPD-TSB2.0 STNet Dante-enabled soundbar. Built with high-quality materials and stylish brushed metal cosmetics, this slim soundbar brings Dante audio-over-IP connectivity from end-to-end in conferencing and boardroom video installations and is interoperable with all other Dante products. This gives integrators additional flexibility when designing and installing audio systems.

The SoundTube Dante soundbar is made of extruded aluminum and has an integrated metal grill which is designed to fit seamlessly underneath 55-inch and larger monitors. In typical under-TV applications, the soundbar measures only one- and one-half inches thick where the bar meets the display, is 6.75-inches tall and 43-inches wide. In this slim design, it features a built-in amplifier and DSP, right and left speaker with four three-inch ultra-long throw polypropylene woofers with NBR surrounds, four bass radiators, and two 0.75-inch patented synthetic soft dome tweeters. Wall-mount and table-top hardware are included, and the cabinet also has threaded inserts for mounting to a display wall bracket mechanism.

“Our customers have been asking for an AV over IP high-performance soundbar for conferencing,” says Mike Sipe, vice president, sales. “Most IP-based audio systems can use this – especially in areas like classrooms, offices and huddle spaces. It provides outstanding dialogue and clarity along with an open, wide sound stage.”

With digital signals plus PoE power sent directly to the speakers via standard category cable, the SoundTube IPD-TSB2.0 soundbar is simple to connect. The intelligent amplifier with DSP monitors the functions of the speaker and can send an alert if there are any problems. Each IPD-TSB2.0 is configurable using SoundTube's STNet Control Center software. The software is used to set up the soundbar via an 8-band parametric EQ, delay and input and output gain using a built-in pink noise generator. And, because the solution is part of a Dante connected system, it is interoperable with a host of other products. It can also be used with SoundTube’s STNet Switch, offering up to 40 watts PoE to each speaker, or with standard PoE or PoE+ switches.

MSE Audio will present this and other new solutions from its brands Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, dARTS, Rockustics, SoundTube and SolidDrive at CEDIA Expo September 1-3, 2021, in Indianapolis with a booth and sound room for live demos. The SoundTube, SolidDrive, Soundsphere and Rockustics products will be also present at InfoComm in Orlando, Florida October 27-29.
