January 16 2025, 09:10
Mackie, the legendary brand that is now part of the Freedman Group (Røde), announced a new addition to their acclaimed ProFX mixer line, the battery-powered ProFX10 GO. The portable design allows user to mix anything from anywhere, and offers up to eight hours of battery life in a feature-packed 10-channel analog mixer loaded with Mackie’s Onyx preamps and built-in GigFX+ digital effects, EQ, and compression, as well as USB-C interface and Bluetooth connectivity.

The new Mackie ProFX10 GO offers up to eight hours on a rechargeable, swappable battery, so users can mix long sessions, anywhere. All the inputs and outputs are ready to accommodate a whole live setup – with microphones, instruments, phone or tablet, and outputs to connect to Mackie’s GO loudspeakers or any sound reinforcement system.

Mackie’s low-noise, high-headroom Onyx preamps deliver up to 60dB of gain and 48V phantom power on all channels, along with analog compression and 3-band tone shaping EQ. Adding the powerful GigFX digital effects engine, users can edit and save more than 24 different reverbs, delays, and choruses to add to the mix.

As required these days, the new Mackie ProFX10 GO mixer connects with any phone or tablet via the dedicated Bluetooth channel to send and receive audio wirelessly. Ideal for a DJ set, perform to backing tracks, or even streaming live. Users can even capture an entire event mixed in the ProFX10 GO directly to a Mac or PC at high-resolution sample rates up to 192kHz via high-speed USB-C connection. And of course, like all Mackie products, the Mackie ProFX10 GO is built like a tank with a rugged steel chassis to go anywhere the party is.

A very unique concept of a battery-powered analog audio mixer, the ProFX10 GO is the solutions that enables a truly untethered experience. It combines the raw sound and full control of a true analog mixer, the processing power of GigFX+ digital effects, and high-resolution USB-C recording, in a feature-packed, portable package. The Mackie ProFX10 GO battery-powered mixer is now shipping and available with a MAP of $399.99.
