Scheduled to make its North American debut at AXPONA 2024, the Macaria by MACO loudspeakers are ready to captive with its promise of "a huge, immersive sound, with a deep, wide and holographic soundstage." This, combined with an elegant design that makes the Macarias poised to be a sculptural and auditory centerpiece.

Being a "Proudly Made in Canada" project that is founded on the concept of locally-sourced materials, in addition to their unique aesthetics, the Macarias allow a choice of materials that adds to the whole experience. Personalization options for the Macaria by MACO loudspeakers include Birch ply, solid Walnut, Quartz, or Granite baffles, with a natural, gloss or polished finish. All the loudspeakers come standard with the same two 15" MACO paper cone drivers that define the core of the sound for the open-baffle configuration.

Another key design feature unique to the Macaria by MACO loudspeakers are the MACO base options: the grounded base, for a classic look, which comes standard, and supports the baffle closer to the ground providing deeper bass extension; and a floating base (patent pending), which suspends the baffle in the air, eliminating any interaction with the floor, providing better definition across all frequencies. With specific details yet to be revealed,  the company describes this floating design as "a remarkable achievement never done before in open baffles."

Both base options use isolation provided by VIABLUE UFO absorbers. All Macaria by MACO loudspeakers also come standard with VIABLUE wiring and MACO crossovers.

Founded by Deborah Ann and Armando Rehyez, MACO intends to blend innovation with a personal, hands-on philosophy. The founders will be in room #686 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center, Schaumburg, IL, from April 12-14, 2024, for the debut of these open baffle loudspeakers.

In celebration of the official North American launch of the Macaria by MACO loudspeakers, the company is offering free shipping within the continental USA and Canada. MACO will be joined in Room 686 by VIABLUE and Trafomatic/Hear This, among others.
