Galaxy Audio, a company specializing in wireless personal monitors, wireless microphones, headset microphones, portable PA, and personal monitors is expanding into the wireless fitness category with their acquisition of Special Projects Audio and Ansr Audio. With the acquisition, Galaxy Audio expands its offering of audio solutions in the Musical Instrument, Systems Integration and Consumer Electronics industries, while continuing to provide the same level of service and support.

Galaxy Audio is a family-owned company based out of Wichita, Kansas, and has been providing high-quality audio gear since 1977. Back in the very early 70's, the company's signature product, The Hot Spot personal monitor, launched the company, and has since expanded into a full line of audio products for live production, portable sound, and more. Galaxy Audio's founders Brock Jabara and Jim Pearce pioneered the small PA/personal monitor category and through the years the company continued to offer groundbreaking designs in both powered and unpowered speakers, evolving gradually also to wireless and in-ear solutions.

Special Projects Audio has become a fitness industry standard for waterproof wireless headset microphone systems. The company's critically acclaimed EVO true wireless headset microphone features a rechargeable, sweatproof compact transmitter with an ergonomic behind the ear comfort fit.

Ansr Audio is Special Projects Audio’s parent electronics manufacturing company, which manufactures professional wireless systems, headworn wireless microphones, lapel wireless microphones, and podium/conference microphones.

As Galaxy Audio states, Special Projects Audio and Ansr Audio’s offering of high-performance fitness products will continue to be developed and expanded upon, with Galaxy Audio committed to deliver on quality, affordability, and the highest standards of customer service.
Galaxy Audio will showing the now expanded range of solutions during the 2020 NAMM Show, January 16-19, in Booth# 15123. |
