For fifty-five years, Eminence has specialized in custom engineering and manufacturing loudspeakers for the world's most revered professional audio and musical instrument brands, as well as the repair and refurbishment markets. The Global Standard Series continues this Eminence legacy, expanding its catalog for international markets, with products Engineered in the USA. The new range features six guitar, four bass guitar and six PA speakers in various sizes from 6" to 15".
The 12" Retro guitar speakers with 1.75" voice coils and copper wire are rated for 75 and 50 watts designs, and deliver a classic vintage voiced, rounded tone with solid bottom end and rich defined mid-range. The 10" and 15" classic American tone bass guitar speakers are characterized as punchy, low and loud, using 2" voice coils with copper winding and rated for 200 watts, except for the larger Retrobass S2515 model, which is uses a 2.5" voice coil with aluminum wire and is rated for 250 watts. Designed specifically for bass guitar amps and cabinets, these Retrobass speakers in 10" and 15" models, offer rumbling lows, growly mids and tight highs, allowing flexible voicing to players' preferences.
Fitting the needs of a wide array of professional sound reinforcement needs, the new Global Standard Series offers six woofers with 1.5", 1.75" and 2.5" voice coils, all wound with copper wire, except for the PA S2510 10" model which is wound with aluminum wire and rated for 275 watts. Systems designed with these speakers will benefit from a coherent voice in the smaller size woofers rated from 100 watts, all the way to the 15" woofer rated for 300 watts. All the high powered PA speakers are built with ferrite magnets and a stamped frame, providing balanced, crisp sounds with full lows and clear mids.
Engineered in the USA by Eminence, the Global Standard Series are affordable, professional audio loudspeakers designed to easily be incorporated into OEM products or used as replacements for repair, renewal and refurbishment.
As the end of 2021 approaches, Eminence is reporting increased demand for its products, which is great news but also a challenge given the numerous production challenges of 2021, including supply chain disruptions. The Kentucky-based manufacturer currently distributes its speakers worldwide to over 90 countries, with manufacturing facilities in Eminence, KY and Dongguan, China, from where its teams are working in full force to fulfill all orders.
