Elytone Electronics Introduces Networked Audio Products and New Division Peak Amplification at NAMM 2023

April 10 2023, 04:35
Elytone Electronics, an OEM/ODM manufacturer from Taiwan, and provider of custom audio solutions and magnetic components for over forty years, is bringing a new range of networked audio products to the 2023 NAMM Show. Very significant will be the introduction of a new division and new brand Peak Amplification,  with a complete range of high-power amplifier modules.

As Elytone states, this is the beginning of a transformation for the company, launching sophisticated network audio products that will enable a wide array of connected, networked applications with advanced audio applications, powerful DSP and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capabilities.

In particular, the Networked Audio Processor 1 (NAP1), is a powerful complete audio and DSP processor with an ARM A5 Cortex processor and an Analog Devices SHARC DSP with on board memory.  The NAP1 is already getting significant interest for a diverse range of end products, showing its versatility for networked audio applications.

The new NAP1 System on Module (SoM), is the first of a new family of networked audio processors from Elytone. NAP1 is a complete Linux system running on Analog Devices ADSP-SC59x System on Chip (SoC). It incorporates an ARM A5 Cortex core, single or dual high-performance SHARC audio DSPs with high on-board DDR3 memory, SPI Flash Quad memory, and audio I/O connectivity for peripherals. The NAP1 also includes audio specific components: sample rate converters, FIR filter accelerators, and a SHARC DSP processor with high on-chip memory. The NAP1 runs up to 8x8 channels of Dante Embedded Platform (DEP) audio. The available onboard memory and sophisticated custom DSP will allow for a wide range of audio applications. All of these capabilities are packaged in a module that is only 40x55x6mm (roughly half the size of a business card).

At 2023 NAMM the Elytone team will be also demonstrating a Dante audio networked system using multiple NAP1s. The demonstration will also include other Elytone Dante and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) products which together enable a world of new possibilities for future audio products.

Peak Amplification
Elytone is also launching its own new branded division, Peak Amplification, to immediately introduce a complete portfolio of class-D amplification products from 300W to 1800W in single and two channel configurations. The Peak Amplification portfolio consists of several amplifier series, each tailored to different performance, price and power ranges and intended for different product applications.

Peak Amplification is starting operations immediately. The new division will provide high power, highly efficient amplification products focused on Professional, Consumer, and Commercial audio applications. The small form factors and efficient power of Peak Amplification products will support a wide range of products from highly accurate and detailed studio monitors to high power, high performance professional amplifiers. The company's portfolio will be expanded with an additional line of products slated for later this year.

"Establishing Peak Amplification as a new division means we will have a dedicated team focused on developing, selling, and supporting these new amplification products," says Brent Chou, CEO of Elytone Electronics. "Though this is a new product line, Peak Amplification builds on decades of experience in amplification design and manufacturing for our global customers, and has Elytone’s quality control, safety, and certifications behind all the products."

Albert Yong, Vice President of Audio/OEM at Elytone adds, "We are excited to launch a complete line of amplification products, with common design that will allow the modules to support a full portfolio of products for our customers. We will have even more flexible products coming later this year, and we are exploring new technologies for greater power and efficiency in the future."

The Elytone team welcomes appointments for presentations and demonstrations of both its Networked Audio Products and Peak Amplification, in Hall D, Room 4853. Email for appointments info@elytone.com
