Echo Test + Measurement, the manufacturer of the AIO Test System family of modular, soundcard based, audio test hardware, announced enhanced support for National Instrument's LabVIEW software. LabVIEW is a graphical programming environment engineers use to develop automated research, validation, and production test systems. The Enhanced LabVIEW Virtual Instruments is now available, supporting 64-bit LabVIEW 2023.
"LabVIEW integration has never been easier!," states Kris Jackson, VP of Sales, Marketing and Product for Echo. "We have made significant improvements to our existing LabVIEW VI's and added new ones to support our new hardware offerings. The combination of Echo hardware and LabVIEW software makes for a very powerful and affordable package!" The Echo LabVIEW installer can be downloaded from the Echo website and supports 64-bit LabVIEW 2023. Older versions of LabVIEW software can be supported upon request.
The announcement comes short after Echo Test + Measurement introduced its latest Software V4.3 update for the AIO Test System. V4.3 adds important support for new module configurations, control panel application improvements, and new command syntax for the command line interface and API. With a total of six modules to choose from, the AIO test System now has over 30 possible configurations, allowing you to customize an affordable solution for your testing needs.
"This is a really exciting launch for us," adds Kris Jackson. “As we continue to innovate, our products evolve to support the needs of audio engineers requiring quality test systems. Now, technicians have even more options for creating their ideal module configurations, along with added flexibility within the software."
Control panel application changes include streamlined meter controls and improved RMS metering, as well as a more flexible control layout on the “Channels” tab. Also new is Direct2D rendering for better performance and appearance. The command line interface and API have also received a major syntax rework to support the complete feature set of all current AIO modules. This allows all hardware functions to be controlled remotely from within the "Test Software" sequence or custom applications.
With the addition of LabVIEW, AIO Test System users can now leverage one of the most robust test and measurement programs in the world. From performing a simple voltage measurement to building automated test systems, users can create customized programs for their unique applications with this pivotal integration.
The Echo LabVIEW installer can be downloaded from the Echo website and supports LabVIEW 2023. Older versions of LabVIEW software can be supported upon request.
