Capitalizing on Digigram’s 35 years of expertise in the pro audio industry, the ALP-X range was announced as the trustworthy legacy of VX cards from the French audio manufacturer, many of which are still in operation today. The simultaneous use of analog and digital inputs/outputs, embedded mixers with full capacity, compatibility with Windows and Linux operating systems, or GPIOs included - are among the smart features that ensure these sound cards are perfect for mission critical audio applications, where reliability and performance are paramount.
Introduced at NAB 2023, and available in Spring 2023 via Digigram’s network of distributors, the new ALP442e, ALP442e-MIC, ALP882e and ALP882e-MIC embed the signature features of the established ALP-X range: pristine sound quality for playing and recording, and a robust design to provide the utmost reliability. These cards offers four or eight balanced analog line inputs plus two or four stereo AES3 inputs, four or eight balanced analog outputs plus two or four AES3 outputs, and 8 GPIs / 8 GPOs. The onboard zero latency mixers feature 16 or 32 I/O channels (4 or 8 analogs, 4 or 8 AES3, 8 or 16 software play/record). Each of the 16 or 32 output channels has its own mix from the 16 or 32 inputs.
The new ALP442e and ALP882e sound cards, along with is MIC versions, address all types of broadcast multi-channel applications with expanded capacities, and are ready to be integrated in constraint spaces, and environments with low frequencies. This includes the latest range of Linux slim and blade PCs.
Additionally, the new ALP442e-MIC and ALP882e-MIC with Mic/Line inputs pave the way to a large array of new applications. The sound cards' compact design, coupled with integrated mic preamps, make them ideal for all slim form factor integrated systems.
