The company recently launched their acclaimed Impulse Responses at the Celestion Plus website, where IRs featuring seven different classic Celestion loudspeaker models, each in five different speaker cabinets may be auditioned, purchased and downloaded for use in studio and live production applications.
One First Prize winner will receive a pair of Celestion speakers of their choice from the company’s full line plus a Swag Bag filled with Celestion branded merchandise; two Runner Up winners will each receive a Celestion Swag Bag, and everyone who enters will receive a discount code via email for 20% off an individual cabinet.
To enter the contest:
The competition is free to enter. Contestants don’t even have to already have one of Celestion’s paid impulse response products. A free IR download, mixed for Celestion by producer/engineer Cenzo Townshend, is available here.
Contestants just have to load up the IRs into their setup (amp modeller, DAW, etc.) and record a video showing Celestion IRs in action. They should include either “Celestion Impulse Response" or "Celestion IR" in the title of the video. After that, they just have to upload the completed video, which should be at least one minute long, to YouTube by Friday 17 March, Midnight PST, and share the video on the contestant personal Facebook or Twitter account and tag Celestion.
When they are done, they should complete the Entry Form - available here - by the above deadline.
“We've been totally blown away by so many great YouTube videos appearing over the past few weeks of users putting Celestion IR downloads through their paces,” says John Paice, Product Marketing Specialilst at Celestion. “As we’d love to see even more, we are holding this video contest – with great prizes for the winner and a discount code for everyone who enters!”
Entries are limited to one per person. The contest will close on March 17th, 2017 at midnight PST, and the winners will be announced on Friday March 24th, 2017. Winners will be chosen at the sole discretion of the team at Celestion. Participation in the Contest constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon being compliant with the Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth in the Official Rules (See here).
