Audio & Loudspeaker Technologies International to Promote Automotive Audio Conference in Munich

April 5 2021, 01:10
Audio & Loudspeaker Technologies International (ALTI - former ALMA) has confirmed that it will not only attend the High End Munich show, exhibiting as part of the new International Parts+Supply (IPS) expansion, but will also promote a conference focused on Automotive Audio. The ALTI Automotive Audio Conference (AAAC) will take place September 9 and 10, 2021 in dedicated conference rooms of the MOC complex in Munich, Germany.

Global pandemic and vaccination campaign allowing, the High End show in Munich is scheduled to return in September 2021, in a slightly different model, with a stronger emphasis on trade activities, also introducing the new International Parts Supply (IPS) B2B show.

ALTI’s first European event will allow visitors to the High End Show to attend a dedicated area focusing on the dynamic and evolving Automotive Audio segment. The initiative leverages the fact that Munich will also host the very first IAA Mobility show from 7-12 September - a major event that replaces the former Frankfurt auto show with an expanded concept around mobility (think e-bykes, car-sharing, scooters, etc.).

The automotive industry worldwide is undergoing the greatest transformation in its history. New expectations for tomorrow's mobility and powertrain systems, vehicle connectivity and autonomous driving are driving those changes. Audio and acoustics will be an important feature and attribute in cars as the interior of the vehicle becomes more important, increasing the demands for high quality sound systems.

The ALTI Automotive Audio Conference will feature 2 days of technical and industry specific content as well as multiple opportunities for networking and socializing. In addition to the Conference content, the ALTI booth - located just ahead in the show floor - promises to be a hub for industry professionals attending the event for meetings and networking.

ALTI is now accepting proposals for presentations at the two-day conference. A request for papers and proposals is now open in ALTI's website and addressed topics can include audio system architectures and system design, transducer and loudspeaker engineering, processing and sound tuning, sound design and all the related areas of automotive audio, such as Acoustic Vehicle Alerting Systems (AVAS).

More information about ALTI and the Automotive Audio Conference is available online. The website will be continuously updated in preparation for this event. Since attendance capacity will be tightly controlled and the schedule is limited, interested parties are advised to submit proposals now.
