With 12 channels, 7 HDMI inputs, 2 HDMI outputs, and eARC, the AVR5 is ready to take immersive audio formats to more homes, supporting Dolby Atmos decoding with up mixing from Dolby Surround, and DTS:X in 7.1.4 speaker configurations (60W/85W per channel). It offers HDMI2.0b with HDCP2.2 and pass-through support for the latest video formats such as 4K, Dolby Vision HDR and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) HDR, with a scheduled upgrade to HDMI 2.1 enabling also support for 8K video in the future.
