The Apogee Sennheiser AMBEO Smart Headset, featuring 3D audio recording, can now be connected to the USB-C port on a Mac, iPad Pro or Windows 10 PC using the Anker USB-C to Lightning Audio Adapter. As Apogee Electronics confirms, microphone and remote functionality is retained, including 3D recording when used with iOS or Windows 10 apps that capture stereo audio. Users can explore the AMBEO Smart Headset not only for 3D audio recording capabilities and high fidelity sound listening but also to tune in or tune out surround sounds.

The Apogee Sennheiser AMBEO Smart Headset connects directly to the Lightning port on any iPhone and iPad (MFi certified) and now, with the Anker adapter, also to the USB-C port on any Mac, iPad Pro and Windows 10 PCs. As the Santa Monica, CA, company confirms, all those users can now explore the AMBEO possibilities in whole new class of devices – no setup, charging or pairing required.

The AMBEO earpieces are fitted with professional quality omnidirectional microphones for binaural recording that captures environmental sounds in 3D, just like we hear them. These microphones also enable the Transparent Hearing and Noise Cancellation features that allow users to blend the sounds of their surroundings with music or tune them out. |
