Advanced Audio Conferencing Solutions from Nureva Certified by Microsoft

December 5 2023, 00:35
Nureva recently achieved back-to-back certifications from Microsoft Teams for its pro series audio conferencing systems. Nureva’s HDL410 is certified by Microsoft, making it the only microphone and speakerbar solution certified for XL Teams Rooms. It joins the HDL310 — certified for large Teams Rooms. Earlier in 2023, Nureva received the ISO 27001 certification, the world's most renowned standard for information security management.

Nureva makes innovative solutions for meeting and learning spaces with high quality audio. Every Nureva system is powered by the company’s patented Microphone Mist technology, which fills rooms with thousands of virtual microphones so voices are picked up everywhere, no matter where people sit, move or face. The technology also features continuous autocalibration, noise reduction, position-based gain control and simultaneous processing, providing remote participants with a clear, reliable listening experience.

Nureva offers a variety of solutions that include the HDL310 and HDL410 audio conferencing systems which deliver professional performance in large and extra-large rooms without the cost and complexity associated with traditional audio solutions.

Now Nureva announced that the HDL410, part of its pro series of audio conferencing systems, has completed the rigorous certification process for Microsoft Teams. Meeting the high standards of one of the world's most popular collaboration platforms, the HDL410 becomes the first microphone and speakerbar solution certified for extra-large Microsoft Teams Rooms. It joins the HDL310 system, which was certified for large Teams Rooms in October 2023, making Nureva’s pro series of audio conferencing systems fully certified for larger spaces.

As a USB device, the HDL410 system can be easily incorporated into the design of virtually any extra-large Teams-enabled space, including boardrooms, training spaces and higher education classrooms. The system uses two wall-mounted microphone and speaker bars to create a unified coverage map that covers spaces up to 35' x 55' (10.7 x 16.8 meters), providing customers with an easy and cost-effective way to outfit their larger rooms. It can be installed in under an hour and autocalibrates to the acoustic properties of the room at first start-up and continuously thereafter. Monitoring and management of the system is quick and easy using Nureva Console, a secure, cloud-based platform.

Teams has quickly emerged as one of the world’s most popular UC&C platforms, with 320 million active users (in comparison, Skype, also from Microsoft, has over 600 million registered users and 100 million active monthly users). As the platform grows, so does the need for high-performing Teams Room solutions that can be deployed cost-effectively at scale to enable remote collaboration. For larger spaces, many organizations struggle to find audio solutions that effectively meet this need. Plug and play audio systems designed for small spaces are underpowered for larger spaces, while multicomponent conferencing systems can be expensive and complex to set up and manage.

Nureva’s pro series audio systems address these challenges, providing uncompromised performance in large and extra-large spaces in a plug and play solution that is easy to deploy and manage at scale. The HDL410 system is an ideal audio component for any extra-large Teams Room rollout that relies on rapid implementation, painless remote management and an inclusive collaboration experience.

Earlier in 2023, Nureva also received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, the world’s best-known standard for information security management. This, along with the Microsoft Teams certifications, gives IT professionals the confidence that Nureva products deliver the highest standards of performance, integration and security.

"This Microsoft Teams certification for the HDL410 system, along with the certification received for the HDL310 system last month, reflects our ongoing commitment to working closely with Microsoft to deliver great audio performance in larger Teams Rooms," says Nancy Knowlton, Nureva’s CEO. "The simplicity of installation, setup and device management gives IT professionals new opportunities to accelerate the cost-effective deployment within their larger Microsoft Teams spaces without compromising the collaboration experience."

"The latest hybrid workforce trends are driving significant growth in demand for large and extra-large Microsoft Teams Rooms that support active, uncompromised group collaboration between in-room and remote participants. The microphone and speakerbar form factor of Nureva’s HDL410 system delivers a unique combination of performance and simplified installation and deployment, making it easy for IT professionals to cost-effectively bring the Teams Room experience to more of their larger spaces," adds Albert Kooiman, Senior Director, Microsoft Teams Partner Engineering and Certification at Microsoft.
