According to the press-release the new Rogers LS5/9 Monitors maintains the unique 2 way reflex design of the originals, built using “thin multilayered high-quality cabinetry” with a “rosewood wooden veneer applied for classical appearance.”
The new LS5/9 monitors also use a unique Polyurethane (PU) cone with high elasticity and pliability for its 200mm (8”) bass driver, and a 34mm (1 11/32”) tweeter, achieving a frequency response from 50Hz - 16KHz at +/-3dB and a sensitivity of 87dB for 2.83V@1m at 8 ohms.
