Marshall Headphones together with Marshall Amplification announced the release of their first portable active Bluetooth stereo speaker. The Marshall Kilburn weights only 3Kg, features a built-in battery life for up to 20 hours and is available in black and cream for $300 USD.

Embodying the raw, wayward spirit of rock n roll, the Kilburn portable active stereo speaker takes the unmistakable look and sound of Marshall, unplugs the chords, and takes the show on the road. Available in black or cream with a guitar-influenced leather strap, the Kilburn is a lightweight piece of vintage styled engineering and another good speaker design example, showing that wireless speakers don’t have to sound thin or look like plastic kitchenware.

Setting the bar as one of the loudest speakers in its class, the Kilburn is a compact portable wireless stereo speaker with a well-balanced audio which boasts a clear midrange and extended highs for a sound that is both articulate and pronounced. It uses three Class-D amplification channels (2x5W+1x15W) to feed two 3/4” dome tweeters and one 4” woofer, extending the bass response to 62Hz.

Apart from featuring Bluetooth V4.0 + EDR connectivity, the Marshall Kilburn also allows connecting directly any analog audio source using the 3.5mm jack input. It can be connected directly to mains power using a universal 100-240VAC/70W power supply, also to charge the four built-in 3,7V Li-Io batteries.
