The 171st Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) will take place at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown at City Creek Hotel, Salt Lake City, UT.
During ASA’s Spring 2016 Meeting, more than 900 invited and contributed papers will be presented on research results in all branches of acoustics, including ASA’s 13 technical areas such as Architectural Acoustics, Speech, and Hearing. Technical sessions of interest include: Sound System Design, Optimization, and Intelligibility, Voice Registration in Amplified and Unamplified Singing, Relating Perception to Room Acoustics Measurements, Metrics in Performing Arts Venues I and II, and Spatial Hearing. Since its organization in 1929, the Society has steadily grown in membership and stature. At this time about 7,500 men and women who work in acoustics throughout the US and abroad belong to this prestigious Society.
