National Instruments (NI) announced the PXIe-5164 oscilloscope, which delivers 100 Vpp maximum input range at 1 GS/s and 14 bits. The PXIe-5164 features 400 MHz of bandwidth, 250 volts of measurement range and is built on the open, modular PXI architecture, and includes a user-programmable FPGA to help aerospace/defense, semiconductor and research/physics applications that require high-voltage measurements and high levels of amplitude accuracy.

Listen, Inc., announced the release of SoundCheck Version 15. This release for Mac and Windows expands the testing capability of SoundCheck with additional external control, calibration, audio mixing and hardware integration, and introduces the first in the company’s redesigned virtual instruments, the multimeter. Meanwhile, the Boston-based company was awarded a patent for its audio test amplifier, SC Amp.

Audio Precision announced availability of the latest version of their Android audio test app, with support for Android versions 4, 5 and 6 (as well as Android N Developer Preview 5). The app allows fast, automated evaluation of new phones and tablets, including hands-free Bluetooth audio test without requiring the initiation of a phone call, saving developers’ time and ensuring that measurement results aren’t impacted by network performance.
