HEAD acoustics is one of the reference technology providers of hardware and software for measuring, analyzing and optimizing speech and audio quality, with a complete set of evaluation tools used to objectively determine the quality of voice control systems - a fast growing development discipline, now transitioning from communications and mobile devices - where the use of voice commands plays a significant role - directly to the broader consumer electronics and integration markets. VoCAS (Voice Control Analysis System) is an efficient software for the evaluation of speech recognition systems used in Voice Personal Assistants and voice control solutions, allowing an objective and fast quality assessment of voice signals under realistic and reproducible test conditions.

The latest version of the communication quality analysis system ACQUA 3.5.100 will also be available for testing speech and audio quality. This version includes innovative features that further simplify daily measurements. One of the new features refers to the super-wideband and fullband-capable EVS codec (Enhanced Voice Services). New EVS-capable mobile phones can be tested by using the measurement front end MFE VIII.1 together with the software option Cod-EVS. For the first time, ACQUA 3.5.100 offers the possibility to combine the EVS audio codec with common IP network impairments such as delay, jitter or packet loss, thus enabling even more comprehensive and realistic tests.
Another highlight at the HEAD acoustics booth will allow interested professional visitors to experience the motorized handset positioner HHP IV MotoMount in live demonstrations. The innovation allows automatic and fast measurements of a wide variety of positions for speech quality tests of mobile phones. A complete team of HEAD acoustics' experts will be available to present the software and hardware solutions at MWC 2017 (Hall 7, booth 7J65).
