According to the company, the new CRBN2 headphones build on the cutting-edge CRBN (pronounced “carbon”) transducers originally developed for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications, and now introduce Audeze's patent pending Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator (SLAM) technology, which expands the bass response normally missing in electrostatics.
