Ready to meet the expanding requirements in modern automotive head units, digital clusters, and in-vehicle infotainment systems, the new HFDA class-D audio amplifiers offer four 27W channels of high-performance audio in a tiny 7x7 mm LQFP48 package.

ON Semiconductor has announced two new products that can be used together in USB-C (Type-C) applications while offering benefits in other modern power-oriented applications. The new devices are the FSA4480, a USB Type-C analog audio switch with integrated protection, and the NCS21x series of current sense amplifiers. Ideal for media players, the FSA4480 is a high performance USB Type-C port multimedia switch which supports analog audio headsets, allowing the sharing of a common USB Type-C port to pass USB2.0 signal.
