Powersoft Launches Ultra-Compact PoE Amplifier at ISE 2025

The latest announcement from Powersoft is called Nota, and it’s a versatile, ultra-compact PoE/PoE+ amplifier that the Italian manufacturer says was designed to meet current market needs. Those have to do with increasing requirements for fully networked audio environments, increasingly AES67-based. With PoE/PoE+ and USB-C connectivity, 140W of power, built-in DSP, and remote monitoring and control, Nota is feature-packed, easy-to-setup, and proof that it’s not about size, but what you do with it.

Theory Professional Makes Official Debut at ISE 2025

From Orange County, CA to Barcelona, Theory Professional will make its official debut on the show floor at ISE 2025, with plans to demonstrate its high performance loudspeakers, subwoofers, and loudspeaker controllers. Visitors to the show will be able to find the latest DLC loudspeaker controllers with AES67 audio-over-IP connectivity, and the full family of Surface, In-Wall, In-Ceiling, Pendants and Soundbars. The company founded by Paul Hales is co-exhibiting with Jupiter Systems at stand 3N620.

A highly integrated automotive Arm-based microcontroller (MCU) and processor with TI’s vector-based C7x digital signal processor (DSP) core to achieve industry-leading processor performance. And TI’s new audio amplifier is the industry’s first with one-inductor (1L) modulation technology, allowing it to achieve Class-D performance with half the number of inductors.
