Lavoce Italiana continues to consistently expand its OEM catalog of professional audio driver solutions, while expanding its distribution scope in tandem with its steady pace of product introductions. For Prolight+Sound 2018 (Frankfurt, April 10-13), Lavoce has several new products scheduled to be unveiled. For now the company revealed details for their new small format compression drivers, the DN07.10LM, with neodymium magnet, and the DF10.101LM, a ferrite magnet, both with 1” CCAW voice coils and FEM optimized.
Anyone following the professional audio industry trade-shows, from NAMM to Prolight+Sound or InfoComm could appreciate the remarkable expansion in Lavoce's range of products. The company designs and manufactures leading HF and LF transducers for global professional audio and MI manufacturers and distributors, with its R&D center based in Rome and all products manufactured at their wholly owned state of art Lavoce factory in Jiashan, China.
A clear sign of the company's expansion is its expanding distribution network worldwide. Just prior to Prolight+Sound 2018, Lavoce announced the appointment of a new exclusive distributor for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Steinigke Showtechnic, also one of the biggest distributors of show equipment in Europe.
Matthias Krah and Florian Hettiger from the Steinigke team explain that, "After being presented with all the information about Lavoce, we quickly knew there was something very special about their proposition. Their products are superbly engineered and are perfect for our markets, so we will be offering a really competitive package to our customers, which will include cabinet designs and product support, to help ensure Lavoce is a big success in the coming years."
A similar announcement was made for the huge market of Turkey, where Lavoce appointed Dinakord Elektronik as their exclusive distributor. The company's portfolio is an enviable mix of their own and world-renowned brands, and they have a long history of supplying transducers, making them the perfect partner for Lavoce in Turkey.
As for the new products scheduled to be shown at Prolight+Sound 2018, Lavoce anticipated some details about their new two new small format compression drivers.
The DN07.10LM is small neodymium magnet compression driver with a 0.75" exit and a 1" CCAW voice coil, and has a 10W AES power rating, 109dB sensitivity and a one-piece polyester diaphragm and surround. Its FEM optimized motor, phase-plug and diaphragm delivers a very smooth frequency response to 18kHz, and together with its lightweight and compact size, the DN07.10LM is the perfect solution for smaller systems or line arrays where multiple units are required.
The DF10.101LM is a ferrite magnet 1” exit, 1” CCAW voice coil, compression driver, using a polyester diaphragm and has a 15W AES power rating with 107dB sensitivity. This updated version of Lavoce's popular DF10.10L platform offers a smoother frequency response and a 76mm horn fitting. The DF10.101LM has been optimized with FEM to deliver the perfect balance of performance and price, for when a cost driven solution is required.
For Prolight+Sound 2018, Lavoce Italiana is located on Hall 3.1 booth F21.
