August 28 2024, 13:00
NAD Electronics announced the NAD M10 V3 BluOS Streaming Amplifier with improved performance, a moving-magnet phono input, and Dirac Live Bass Control Ready. Beautifully designed with a full-color touchscreen display and brushed aluminum chassis, the new M10 V3 features 100 watts per channel of nCore amplification and now offers an updated ESS Sabre ES9039 DAC. NAD will preview the new M10 V3 at CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver, Colorado.

The new NAD M10 V3 is now ready to support Dirac Live Bass Control, enabling a new level of bass management in multi-subwoofer setups. Using the Dirac Live app and sophisticated room correction technology, users are able to measure room acoustics and eliminate standing waves, reverberations, and other unwanted distortions. Now, with Dirac Live Bass Control available as an upgrade, users can also optimize the subwoofer outputs in both time and frequency to deliver a smooth and seamless response between the subwoofers and main speakers. The new and included BC1 Remote Control features an EQ button for selecting programmed Dirac filter profiles.

"With Dirac Live Bass Control available on the NAD M10 V3, we’ve seamlessly integrated Dirac's advanced bass management algorithms to ensure optimized performance and the most precise and immersive low-frequency experience," explains NAD’s Product Manager, Cas Oostvogel. "Our partnership with Dirac exemplifies our commitment to elevating audio quality, providing listeners with unparalleled sound clarity and depth for stereo and home theatre."

The M10 V3 features a HybridDigital amplifier with nCore technology to deliver 100 watts of Continuous Power (into 8 and 4 Ohms) and a remarkable 160 watts of Dynamic Power (8 Ohms), with virtually zero noise or distortion. Its audio circuitry is designed around a new ESS Sabre ES9039 DAC, one of the world's best digital-to-analog converters in terms of dynamic range and ultra-low distortion.
The M10 V3 offers a full panel of inputs and outputs to connect any source, including a new dedicated MM phono input and RCA stereo, plus a USB Type A input for connecting legacy storage music libraries, and Optical and Coaxial for digital sources. It is also equipped with HDMI eARC for enhanced audio while watching TV and enjoying shows, movies, and games.

With BluOS, the powerful multiroom music platform, the M10 V3 can be controlled from any smartphone, tablet or desktop, and stream popular music streaming services, Internet radio stations, and personal music libraries stored on any network drive or computer. Streaming supports hi-res audio up to 24-bit/192kHz when connected to other BluOS enabled speakers and audio systems for a multiroom music experience throughout the home.

BluOS can also transform the M10 V3 from a two-channel stereo amplifier to a wireless Dolby Digital home theater system. Using the BluOS app, M10 V3 can wirelessly connect to a second M10 V3, or other BluOS enabled speakers, and create an immersive 4.1 system. The M10 V3 also supports AirPlay 2, so users can stream music from an iPhone, iPad, or iTunes library directly. It also supports Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect and play music using the apps for those services, and is Roon Ready. That is in addition to numerous other streaming services supported directly within the BluOS app, including Hi-Res music services such as Amazon Music Ultra HD, Tidal Max, Deezer, Qobuz, and many others.
"The original M10 was first introduced in 2019, and it was well beyond our expectations in design and performance," adds Cas Oostvogel. "The M10 V3 builds on this success through the advancement of new DAC technology and blending the convenience of modern music streaming with the rich listening experience of vinyl."

The NAD M10 V3 ($2,499 USD/EUR) will be available globally in late Fall 2024 and include the new BC1 Remote Control. NAD is inviting installers, and industry professionals to preview the new M10 V3 BluOS Streaming Amplifier in Booth 3517 at the CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver, Colorado, September 5-7, 2024. Visitors to the booth can also discover NAD's full line of custom integration products.
