New Generation of Brüel & Kjær’s High-frequency Head and Torso Simulator

Sonosax Joins Sennheiser’s “Ambeo For VR” Partnership Program

At the 143rd AES Convention, Sennheiser has announced that Switzerland-based mixer and recorder manufacturer Sonosax will join the audio specialist’s “AMBEO for VR” partnership program. Officially launched at IBC 2017, the program has been created to ensure seamless production workflows and interoperability for VR and AR productions. It encompasses collaborations with acclaimed manufacturers of field recorders, VR live cameras and live streaming software, mixing plug-ins and VR platforms.

ams Audio Offers World-Class Noise-Cancelling Performance in Two New Wireless Headphones from FIIL

Austrian sensor and noise canceling specialist, ams announced that headphone manufacturer FIIL is using two ams chipsets in its latest releases. ams’ hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) audio IC, the AS3435, is used in the high performance Canviis Pro wireless on-ear headphones. In addition, ams’ AS3412 has been chosen for the Driifter Pro, one of the first neck-band-based Bluetooth in-ear ANC headphones of its kind. The AS3412 – which comes in a tiny WL-CSP – is ideally suited for this audio application because of the headphones’ size constraints.
