Jinlan Huang currently works as a Principal Applications Engineer at COMSOL in Burlington, MA, with a specialty in vibrations and acoustics. She has been a speaker of multiphysics modeling in the fields of Acoustics, Structural Mechanics, MEMS, Fluid Flow, and Heat Transfer and an instructor of specialized courses in Acoustics. She received her PhD from Boston University, Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, investigating acoustic wave propagation in complex tissue environments and ultrasound-induced tissue heating and bleeding control. She joined COMSOL in 2011.
