Following the unexpected departure of Wolfgang Fraissinet from Georg Neumann GmbH, in July 2019, Ralf Oehl has now been appointed as CEO of the famous company, part of the Sennheiser Group. In his new position, Ralf will continue to build the business and brand, further developing the overall strategic direction of the studio microphone and studio monitor company. He will report to Peter Claussen, COO of the Sennheiser Group.

Harman Confirms Michael Mauser to Succeed Dinesh Paliwal as New President and CEO

Harman, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, announced that Dinesh Paliwal will step down on April 1 after nearly 13 years with the company as President & CEO (including ten years as Chairman and CEO of the NYSE-listed Harman International). Harman’s Board of Directors has unanimously elected Michael Mauser to succeed Paliwal, as President and Chief Executive Officer. Mauser will join the company’s board of directors, effective April 1.

TDK Corporation has expanded its lineup of chip varistors with the new AVRF101U6R8KT242 for audio equipment, which offers both ESD and EMI protection. This new product is intended for audio equipment that uses wireless communications in the 2.4 GHz band. Thanks to optimization of its capacitance of 6.8 pF, the multilayer component features high attenuation at this frequency and is able to effectively suppress the generated TDMA noise and thus improve receiver sensitivity.
