THAT Launches 7200 Series ICs, First Standalone JetPLL Audio Clock Generators

THAT Corporation announced its first foray into digital Integrated Circuits (ICs) with three state-of-the-art audio clocking ICs. The 7200, 7210, and 7220 are Phase Locked Loop (PLL) ICs based on the acclaimed JetPLL technology invented by audio clocking guru Chris Travis. Licensed from Sonopsis Ltd., Travis’ technology has been deployed in hundreds of thousands of professional audio products offered by some of the industry’s most prestigious brands.

The latest product to be dropped on the world by the company is a new digital to analog converter worthy of attention by those who need top audio playback quality from their digital sources. The new Diamond from SPL is a premium DAC and preamplifier with support for up to 32-bit/768kHz digital PCM and DSD256 audio decoding through the AKM AK4490 DAC and analog DLP120 dual low-pass filter chips.

Digigram has announced the release of two new PCIe sound cards, ALP-222e and ALP-222e-Mic as part of their new ALP-X range. According to the French audio equipment manufacturer, the ALP-X range comprises a series of digital and analog sound cards with improved features that will gradually roll out throughout 2022 to replace the legacy Digigram VX sound cards. ALP-222e and ALP-222e-Mic are the first two cards of the range to be released on the market.
