Williams AV Announces Next Phase of Growth Strategy

Williams AV, a leading provider of assistive communication technology for the professional AV industry, announced that UK-based Audiologic has officially inked a distribution partnership covering the UK and Ireland beginning January 1, 2024, and the company’s Digi-Loop hearing loop products will once again be available in the UK and North American markets beginning January 2024.

The Television Academy announced the recipients of the 75th Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Awards honoring an individual, company or organization for developments in broadcast technology. German company Riedel Communications was awarded for its Bolero ADR (Advanced DECT Receiver) wireless intercom solution with multi-diversity and anti-reflection technology, delivering greater RF (radio frequency) robustness than ever seen before in the industry.

Pliant Technologies announced a firmware update, which includes the addition of a new Dual Listen feature for its latest MicroCom XR systems. Dual Listen gives users the ability to listen to two intercom channels simultaneously. This provides the benefit of monitoring communications on both the A and B channels, while also allowing users to switch between talking on either channels A or B independently.
