Analog Devices Now Sampling New ADXL380 and ADXL382 Triaxial MEMS Accelerometers

It was a big product announcement from Analog Devices at Sensors Converge 2024, but aside for what was revealed to those attending the event, there has yet to be a formal announcement. The ADXL380 and ADXL382 are low noise, low power, wide bandwidth, 16-bit sensors that cover a dynamic range of 85dB, making them good options for precision applications with minimal calibration, with the ADXL380 being ideal for new true wireless ANC earbuds. audioXpress explores here all the important details about these two new 3-axis MEMS accelerometers.

AMS launched the TMD2636, a fully integrated proximity sensor which occupies 30% less space than currently available solutions, and delivers transformational added value to manufacturers of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds. The new TMD2636 fully integrated proximity sensor module is supplied in an ultra-low-profile package. Designers of ultra-low-power portables and wearables can shrink the size of a power and communication interface to the charging dock by up to 80 percent with the new MAX20340, the industry’s smallest 2-pin bi-directional DC powerline communications (PLC) device from Maxim Integrated Products. Each MAX20340 PLC IC is only 1.84mm2 and does not require any large external components such as inductors, while hosting communication and power over the same line reduces potential points of failure and cost.
