Knowles Enhances Performance for Meizu LIVE AI Noise Cancelling Hi-Fi Earbuds

Knowles Corporation announced that Meizu, a consumer audio brand from China, has selected Knowles balanced armature (BA) drivers and SiSonic high-performance MEMS microphones to produce premium sound for its new LIVE AI Noise Cancelling Hi-Fi Earbuds. Now available in China and other countries in the APAC region, the Meizu LIVE AI earbuds combine the BAs with a coaxial driver, tuned to the Knowles Preferred Listening Curve. Meizu also offers a first-of-its-kind capability that uses artificial intelligence to identify user listening preferences.

Knowles announced the availability of KN2, a True Wireless Stereo (TWS) reference design tuned to the Knowles Preferred Listening Response Curve, incorporating results of the company's study for music listening on in-ear designs. KN2 features a state-of-art hybrid dual driver system paired with an advanced Bluetooth system-on-chip (SoC) and active noise cancellation (ANC) system along with other advanced features.

Reacting to the fact that streaming music services have started to offer lossless music streaming options, Qualcomm has now extended its aptX Adaptive set of technologies - supported by its latest Snapdragon Sound processors - to also include a CD-quality lossless option over Bluetooth. The new aptX Lossless technology expands options available for Bluetooth wireless audio, combining codec, wireless link and RF optimizations.
