DSP Concepts and CEVA Partner to Streamline Audio/Voice DSP Software Development for High-End Sound Applications

CEVA and DSP Concepts announced that DSP Concepts’ industry-leading Audio Weaver tools and TalkTo voice front-end now support the CEVA-X2 and CEVA-BX family of DSPs. Audio Weaver is already being used by a number of companies who are leveraging the design tool to develop advanced audio and voice applications for their CEVA DSP based designs.

CEVA, a leading licensor of signal processing platforms for smart, connected devices, introduced ClearVox, a new software suite of advanced voice input processing algorithms aimed at enhancing speech intelligibility and voice clarity for voice-enabled devices. ClearVox is licensed exclusively for the CEVA-TeakLite-4 and CEVA-X2 audio/voice DSPs, and extends the company’s voice portfolio with multi-mic beamforming, speaker direction of arrival, noise suppression and echo cancellation algorithms.

Cyberon has developed an optimized implementation of its CSpotter voice recognition engine for the CEVA-TeakLite family of DSPs.

The tightly-integrated solution is now available for developers, and the company confirmed it will start production of an ultra-low power voice processor targeting high-volume consumer electronics.
