Genelec Introduces GLM 4.1 with AutoCal 2 Automatic Room Calibration Algorithm

Genelec is marking the 15th anniversary of its highly praised GLM loudspeaker manager software with the introduction of GLM 4.1, which is compatible with all Genelec Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers. The GLM 4.1 update offers significant new features and improvements, thanks to the debut of the next-generation AutoCal 2 automatic room calibration algorithm, which delivers a more precise frequency response in a fraction of the time than was previously possible.

While audioXpress did highlight already the 36th Annual NAMM Creative and Technical TEC Awards when those were announced, because there was no actually NAMM show this year (and no actual TEC Award ceremony) we still needed to confirm the 2021 TECnology Hall of Fame Inductees.
