Steinberg Launches SpectraLayers 10 Advanced Spectral Audio Processing

Steinberg launched SpectraLayers Pro 10 and SpectraLayers Elements 10, delivering its most advanced spectral audio processing software ever. The latest version of Steinberg’s state-of-the-art spectral editing software comes with a range of new tools, processes and significant enhancements. Updated with a redesigned core and greatly evolved AI potential, it offers enhanced control with faster and more precise spectral audio editing.

With a range of significant improvements, the latest version of Steinberg’s state-of-the-art spectral editing software - SpectraLayers Pro 9 and SpectraLayers Elements 9 - allows spectral audio processing to be heard in real time, making the audio editing workflow faster and more accurate than ever. Sounds are displayed as visual objects and layers, enabling ultra-precise editing for any application, including music and post-production, sound design, audio restoration and much more.

Steinberg announced the immediate availability of SpectraLayers Pro 6. First distributed by Sony Creative Software and then by Magix Software, the developers behind SpectraLayers have now joined forces with Steinberg to release its sixth iteration. Now as part of the comprehensive Steinberg software portfolio, SpectraLayers Pro 6 comes with exciting new features and workflow integrations, providing an innovative way to edit audio in the spectral domain.

Promising a bright future for the entire Sound Forge Line, German software company MAGIX confirmed it is committed to release upgrades to this popular family of audio editing software products. Currently under development by engineering teams in the US and Germany, new upgrades will arrive in May 2017, with upgrades for the entire line slated for completion within the next 12 months.
