Celestion Debuts V-Type Dynamic Speaker Responses for Use With SpeakerMix Pro

Continuing to expand its impulse response portfolio, Celestion now announced that its Celestion V-Type digital models are available in the Dynamic Speaker Response (DSR) format. The new V-Type joins the extensive collection of Celestion DSRs designed especially for use with SpeakerMix Pro, the self-contained software plug-in that offer expanded levels of detail in guitar and bass speaker tones. DSR speaker responses capture the full sound and feel of the speaker’s dynamic, non-linear responses for even more tonal detail.

As a premier manufacturer of guitar and bass loudspeakers whose classic rock guitar tones have made the company famous, Celestion announced their new line of ENGL Cabinets Impulse Responses. Celestion has faithfully captured the sounds of German amp designer and manufacturer ENGL to create this new addition to its Backline Heroes range of cabinet IR libraries, which already offers IRs for five other famous guitar brands, including VOX and Orange.

Celestion teamed up with iconic British amplifier manufacturer Laney Amplification to create the Laney Cabinets Collection of Impulse Responses.
