Treble Launches Cloud-Based Virtual Acoustics Simulation Platform

Leveraging scientific breakthroughs in acoustics and simulation to provide hyper accurate virtual prototyping to the architectural and engineering industries, Treble Technologies has launched its flagship software platform, Treble. An industry first, Treble enables engineers and architects to create 3D models that account for the acoustics of their creations, allowing them to listen to how they will sound.

Sennheiser has joined the BIMobject content platform for architects and the building product manufacturing industry. Key products such as the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 conferencing microphone are available as 2D and 3D objects for systems design and CAD solutions. Sennheiser’s BIM files also provide comprehensive product data, enabling architects, construction companies, and system integrators to better specify, plan, visualize and maintain Sennheiser products throughout the lifecycle of a building.

Danish company Odeon A/S, the pioneer of ray tracing and hybrid models that combine particle and ray tracing used to simulate and measure room acoustics, announced a new version of its ODEON Room Acoustics software. Introducing several important enhancements and new features the new version 16 is now available in four different application editions. Improved Reflectogram and 3D reflection-paths, improved Decay Curve, improved sweep-measurement tool, 3D Matrix, and support of ambisonic measurements are among the highlights.
