New Tascam DA-3000SD 2-channel DSD/PCM Master Recorder with AD/DA Converter

Tascam introduced the DA-3000SD 2-channel DSD/PCM Master Recorder with AD/DA Converter. Following in the footsteps of the original DA-3000, the new DA-3000SD adds support for high-capacity SD card media and user-focused enhancements to provide more control over the recording process. Designed for recording, mastering, and monitoring, the new Tascam DA-3000SD offers a rich feature set that makes the unit a versatile choice for recording studios of all sizes.

In what is undoubtedly one of the most understated product announcements of the year, Tascam announced a new Blu-Ray player. The new BD-MP1MKII Professional Grade Blu-Ray Player, is actually a second-generation offering replacing the company's existing BD-MP1 model, and complementing the BD-MP4K model, which supports 4K video output over HDMI. Because the new BD-MP1MKII is a professional Blu-Ray player it comes with detachable rackmount ears and it even offers balanced analog audio outputs.

TASCAM has announced a very interesting one-stop recording and mixing workstation for podcast creation, streaming, voice over production and more. It's called Mixcast 4 Podcast Station, and combines a lot of the knowledge that the Japanese brand holds in multitrack recorders and home studio mixers. The surface also combines advanced control elements, such as a color touchscreen and sound pads, while all its features and flexibility are expanded by the new Podcast Editor Software.

CEntrance announced that the MixerFace R4B professional field recording solution is now shipping. The company's mobile recording interface now comes with a pair of XY stereo microphones, PivotMics PM1, and a built-in 24-bit SD card recorder, creating a completely stand-alone, high-end recording device. The new MixerFace R4B retains all the features of parent MixerFace models, including a rechargeable battery, sturdy metal housing, and a tactile user interface, all of which combine to create a perfect mobile solution for remote broadcasting or news gathering, podcasting, and interviews.

CEntrance announced the launch of MixerFace R4R, a new version of the acclaimed mobile recording interface that now comes with a built-in audio recorder. The new model retains all the features of its parent MixerFace R4, released in July 2018, but adds a built-in, "one-button record," stereo micro-SD card recorder for added in-the-field flexibility and extra recording redundancy. The new model is now shipping worldwide and costs $449.99 USD.
