Genelec Introduces MyGenelec Portal Community Resource

Genelec has once again signaled its commitment to elevating the user experience by announcing the creation of the MyGenelec customer portal. At the time of launch, this powerful free online resource provides new customers and users with a single unified access point for all Genelec products, services, software downloads and more, and will progressively develop into a comprehensive community and knowledge base for all Genelec users worldwide.

Audeze, the planar magnetic headphone manufacturer based in California, unveiled the new MM-500 headphones purpose-built for professional monitoring, allowing audio engineers and music producers to have the same reference anywhere they need. Unveiled at NAMM 2022, the new MM-500 headphones are part of a planned Manny Marroquin Signature Series, carrying the name of the Grammy-winning engineer/producer, which Audeze appointed as Head of Professional Products, focusing on creating innovative new audio tools for creators and professionals.

Genelec announced the return of Michael Bohlin to the brand that brought him into the professional audio industry, almost 25 years ago. Taking the title International Sales Manager, Bohlin, a well known and highly respected figure in the European industry, will be based in Stockholm. Reporting to International Sales Director Ole Jensen, he will be responsible for the development and support of distributor, dealer and key user networks for Genelec’s professional monitoring segment within Europe.

Following the April 2015 acquisition of TC Group by Music Group, loudspeaker manufacturer Dynaudio has announced that, from 1st November 2015, it will be distributing its professional studio monitors directly from its headquarters in Skanderborg, Denmark. Ole Jensen was appointed to head the sales and distribution operation of Dynaudio Professional.
