Listen Technologies Promotes Kevin Jewkes to Chief of Staff

Listen Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of advanced wireless listening solutions for 26 years, has promoted Kevin Jewkes to chief of staff. As the company prepares for the launch of the first Auracast broadcast audio-based assistive listening solutions, at the end of the year, this promotion recognizes Kevin Jewkes' market experience to support strategic growth. In this new role, Jewkes serves as a trusted advisor to and proxy for Listen Technologies President and CEO Maile Keone.

Amadeus has unveiled their new shallow-depth point source miniature speakers. The C Series was created in 2018 through a specific custom development for performing arts venues, carried out in coordination with the technical sound team from the Paris-based Chaillot National Theater. The new C3 and C4 miniature speaker models are available now for ordering from Amadeus and can be used for many applications.

The Festival d'Avignon, one of the world's most important international events for contemporary performing arts, has chosen Holophonix and Amadeus to re-equip the prestigious main presentation area at the Festival, the Courtyard of Honor at the Palace of the Popes. The two French companies have delivered new hardware and software technology supporting the live performances including the soon to be released "Colonnes d’Avignon" (Avignon Columns' speaker array).

Coordinated by IRCAM Research Centre in collaboration with Amadeus and VRTUOZ, ‘Continuum’ is a 3-year research project, paving the way to new augmented sonic experiences for the performing arts field. Under this framework, the project intends to create a software solution for modeling room acoustic impulse response at high resolution, a hybrid reverb engine, and active acoustic enhancement systems for performing arts venues, all of which will be available in the Holophonix environment.
